Meet the Trustees

Salisbury Foodbanks Next Chapter

Chas Kimber Chair of Trustees & Treasurer
Chas has lived and worked in or around Salisbury all his life and has recently taken over as Chair having been involved with Salisbury Foodbank since it became a stand-alone charity, initially as part of the Community Money Advice Team, and now as admin/warehouse helper and Trustee.
Janet Abbott
Janet Abbott lives in Salisbury.  She works for the charity Hope and Homes for Children having previously worked for Tearfund in the UK, West Africa and Haiti in humanitarian response, church engagement and fundraising. Janet and her husband Phil attend St Paul’s Church where they’re involved in the worship team.  They have one daughter.   Janet has volunteered at Salisbury Foodbank and Wandsworth Foodbank.
Michael Neve

Michael has been connected to Salisbury for over thirty five years and is a retired Financial Adviser. He is married with two grown up children and is a youth leader at St Francis Church.

He is a keen cyclist and runner and is a volunteer for The Bridge Youth project in a variety of capacities. Michael has a passion for both live and recorded music and generally any live entertainment.

Jacqui Cheetham

After a 20 year career as a German and French teacher in Oxford, I moved to Salisbury in 2018 to get married.  I am still teaching part-time and am also training to be a counsellor.  We are involved with St Francis Church.

 

Janet Thirkell
Janet has lived in Salisbury for over 20 years. She is married with two teenage daughters and is an active member of St Francis Church. After a career as a defence scientist/ engineer/ project manager, she now runs a small family software company.
Jo Pearce
Hester Clark
Hester has lived in Salisbury since 2024 with her husband and daughter and is keen to support her local community. She works for the humanitarian charity HelpAge International and brings experience from a career spent living and working overseas.
